Tears is a multimedia project that began as a short film exploring love, mental health, psychedelics, and time travel, inspired by Euphoria, Interstellar, and Belladonna of Sadness. Originally developed at UPenn, it evolved into Stitched With Love, a podcast weaving together art, passion, and human connection. The first episode, recorded in a collaborative jam session with Jonathan Pantalone at Rag Rock Hill Park, features selections from Hozier, Japanese Breakfast, and Yvette Young, capturing raw creativity and emotional depth in an open, immersive setting.
Beyond its storytelling roots, Tears integrates themes of language learning, spirituality, and wellness while examining the intersection of AI and therapy. It delves into memory, perception, and healing, blending research-driven discussions with experimental audio and visual elements. By combining personal narratives with broader explorations of consciousness, Tears challenges conventional media formats, offering a space for unconventional storytelling and deep introspection.
At its core, Tears is a transformative project designed to bridge personal reflection and communal dialogue. It fosters an evolving archive of emotions, discoveries, and shared experiences. By blending technology, creativity, and human connection, Tears creates a space for exploration, growth, and artistic expression, inviting audiences to rethink their relationship with memory, time, and self-discovery.
